The best neighbourhoods for nomads are De Waterkant, Gardens, Observatory, and Green Point. Muizenberg if you surf. The V&A Waterfront if you want harbour views while you work.

June to October is peak season. Northern hemisphere professionals escape their winters and the coworking spaces fill up fast. Book early or pay more. WiFi averages 25 to 100 Mbps across coworking spaces. Backup power is standard at serious spaces. South Africa launched a three-year Remote Work Visa. Direct flights from Europe, the Middle East, and the rest of Africa make Cape Town one of the most accessible destinations on the continent.

The one thing most guides do not say: Cape Town rewards the long stay. Show up for a week and you will see the tourist version. Stay for a month and you will find the city that keeps founders, creators, and remote professionals coming back every year.
