Hours, seats and passes
Set when you're open, how seats are counted, and the passes guests book.
Everything about how guests book a space lives in its Booking settings tab. Guests book a pass first and check in on the day, so switch on at least one pass or the space can't be booked.
Hours
Use your business's default hours or set custom ones. Guests can only check in while you're open. Set the time zone too — it decides what "open now" and "today" mean.
Seats
Set your total seats, then choose when a seat counts as taken:
- When a pass is booked — each booked pass holds a seat for every day it covers. When a day is full, guests can't book it.
- When a guest checks in — a seat is taken on arrival and freed at check-out or the end of the day. Bookings aren't limited by seats.
- I'll update it myself — you type how many seats are free.
Passes and prices
Choose which passes to offer — day, multi-day, week (7 days), month (30 days) — and a rate per day for each. A pass costs its daily rate for every day it covers. Guests pay you at the venue.
Approval
Turn on Approve each booking yourself to review every pass booking and check-in as a request. Leave it off to confirm them instantly.
What each field means
- Hours
- Use your business's default hours (set once in Business settings) or custom hours just for this space.Change the business hours and every space using them updates at once.
- Opening hours
- When you're open each day. Guests can only check in while you're open, and a day pass can't be booked for a day you're closed.A closing time earlier than the opening time means you close the next morning (e.g. 18:00–02:00). A day with no hours at all is shown as not listed and never blocks a check-in.
- Time zone
- The zone your hours are in. It decides when you're open, what "today" means for passes, and when a check-in ends.
- Total seats
- How many people can work here at once. Needed for automatic seat counting.
- Take a seat
- When a seat counts as taken: when a pass is booked, when a guest checks in, or never automatically (you update it yourself).When a pass is booked: each pending or confirmed pass holds a seat for every day it covers, and guests can't book a day once it's full. When a guest checks in: a seat is taken on arrival and freed at check-out or when the day ends; bookings aren't limited. I'll update it myself: you type how many seats are free.
- Seats free right now
- Only for "I'll update it myself": the number guests see. In the automatic modes it's counted for you.
- Approve each booking yourself
- On: pass bookings and check-ins arrive as requests you accept or decline. Off: they're confirmed instantly.A declined request owes nothing. Guests are told either way.
- Currency
- The currency your pass prices are in. Guests see prices in it and pay you at the venue.
- Passes guests book
- The ways guests can book you: a day, several days, a week (7 days) or a month (30 days). Switch on at least one or the space can't be booked.Every price is a rate per day: a pass costs that rate for each day it covers. The day pass is the starting price guests see. Guests book first and check in on the day from their booking.
- Up to (days)
- The longest multi-day pass a guest can pick, in days.
