Zenvivas

Glossary

The words we use across Zenvivas, in plain language.

Approval (business)
Zenvivas reviews new business accounts before they can create listings. You'll see Pending until then, and the reason if it's turned down.Read: Set up your business account →
Arrival kit
The address, contact details and how-to-get-in notes a business writes for guests. You see it once you have a confirmed booking or are checked in.Read: Check in when you arrive →
Bookings open (country)
Zenvivas opens bookings one country at a time. In a country that isn't open yet, listings show but can't be booked.Read: Book a pass at a space →
Branch
Another address of the same business. Each branch is its own space with its own hours, photos and check-ins; linking them just lets guests find the others.Read: List a space →
Business workspace
The business account that owns listings. A person can manage more than one, and a team can share one.Read: Set up your business account →
Check-in
Telling the space you've arrived, from your booking. You need a confirmed pass covering today, and the space has to be open. A check-in lasts until the end of the venue's day.Read: Check in when you arrive →
Claim
Taking ownership of a place Zenvivas already lists. You verify with a code sent by email and our team approves it.Read: Claim a place that's already listed →
Confirmed
Accepted — the booking is on. For a pass, a confirmed pass covering today is what lets you check in.
Credits
Zenvivas's own balance, shown in your wallet. Passes and stays are currently priced in money and paid at the venue, not in credits.
Declined / rejected
The business said no to a request. Nothing is owed.
Listing status
Where a space or stay is in its life: Draft (only you see it), Pending review, Published (live), Paused (hidden for now), Rejected (sent back with a reason) or Archived.Read: Review, publishing and listing status →
No-show
The guest didn't come on the first day. The business can mark it once that day has passed, and a no-show fee applies if their terms set one.Read: Cancellation and no-show terms →
Pass
A booking to work at a space: a day, several days, a week (7 days) or a month (30 days). Priced per day, paid at the venue.Read: Book a pass at a space →
Pause
Putting a monthly pass on hold for some days, if the business allows it. Each paused day moves the end date back a day.Read: Cancel, pause or move a pass →
Pending
Waiting for the business to accept. A space that approves each booking sends passes and check-ins to its Bookings tab as requests; every stay booking starts pending.
Readiness checklist
The list on a listing's Overview of what's required before review and what's recommended. Required items must be done to submit.Read: Review, publishing and listing status →
Seat tracking
How a space counts free seats: when a pass is booked, when a guest checks in, or by hand. Decides what "seats free" means on the listing.Read: Hours, seats and passes →
Space
A place to work from: a café, coworking space, hotel, rental, coliving house or restaurant. Guests book a pass for it and check in when they arrive.Read: List a space →
Standard policy
The terms that apply when a business hasn't set its own: cancel free right up to the start, no no-show fee, no date changes or pauses.Read: Cancellation and no-show terms →
Stay
A room or unit guests book by the night — a room, apartment, studio, coliving bed, villa or hotel room. Every stay belongs to a space.Read: List a stay →
Tab
What you've ordered from the menu during a visit. The business marks it paid when you settle up at the venue.Read: Order from the menu during a visit →
